How has your musical taste evolved lately? Do you find yourself listening to more experimental music? Or maybe softer, more mainstream music?
After listening to electronic music almost exclusively for several years, I have in the latest two years or so started getting more and more into various rock / indie genres, guitars and stuff. I 'm also listening to softer electronic-acoustic blends.
I wonder whether it's an age thing or just a natural diversification.

Even more folk/anti-folk. Been getting some great hip-hop too. Minimal electronics, ambient. More noise.
I'm just expanding my tastes all the time, really, although I already cover a lot of ground. I tend to search out interesting bands/artists rather than looking for stuff inside specific genres.

I wouldn't say mine is evolving, just growing. I don't cling to any specific genre, I like any artist that brings something fresh to the plate.

perhaps it's because of the long, cold winter days.

i've been into some pretty obscure experimental stuff lately, and currently im sort of into a jazzy period.
i had a much broader interest couple of years ago, but i finally came to conclusion most of modern music is a bit shit. be it electronica, pop, rock, or everything combining these genres. must be im growing up finally :)

It's been evolving since I starting vehemently listening to music, I guess in grade 7 or something. Not evolving anymore now than it was in high school, but still changing a lot. Not shifting towards anything in particular though, I'll listen to the avantist garde or the poppiest pop. I used to not be into much classical, but that's been the biggest part of listening rotation the last year/year and a half or whatever.

Hardly any jazz any more. And I don't think I like breakcore anymore. I've become more focused on dancing in terms of what I like.
At the moment I feel a little bit like I've exhausted all the obvious electronica acts I knew I would love, and now I can't be bothered to filter through the other stuff for the sweet jams
