fuuuuck that's an annoying ad.

i'll bet not one of those people are the actual vocalists
that recorded the music, either. they all look like the
fucking demographic.

Their tagline should be,

Honda; Bland as fuck and you'll drive it like a granny.
But at least it won't break down.

Their bikes are as boring as their cars, too, for the
record.

The NSX is well tasty and the sportier looking S2000s and
CRX are nice looking (but under powered within their class).
However, within their class, Honda machines are
always comparatively bland. Not exactly cheap either. The
S2000 looks good, but for a 20 grand sportscar I can think
of a dozen I'd rather go for.

Of course their are sports models, but look at their
competitors and compare them;
Compare an NSX to almost any other supercar...
A Fireblade to a GSX-R.
A Civic to a Ford Focus.
A Type-R to an ST, etc.

I can understand in their "round town"/practical vehicles
putting comfort/safety/smooth dyno curve, above performance,
but even their "sports" models are dull next to the
competition.

I also think you can't really disagree with the statement,
"you'll drive it like a granny", either. I have never seen
any Honda, other than the NSX and a few sportsbikes being
used in anger. They seem to attract people who will drive
them "sensibly". I'd even go so far as to say that I suspect
the longevity of the engines, often cited as good build
quality is in part down to the fact they never get thrashed.

I see your point,
the fact is also my car is usually driven' granny style...
Not a race car, but very enjoyable to drive IMO.

Here's my black beauty!
