I know this is nothing like the actual Metal Gear games for
PS, but if you've played it, is it any good? I'm trying to
get an actual answer about the game itself, not one by
someone who is just pissed because they were expecting
another Metal Gear game. Obviously the Acid series on PSP
is different It seems like a live action Metal Gear version
of Magic: The Gathering. Seems like it could be interesting
given the platform and replayability and strategy seem
relevant.

I'm curious, because I was considering MGA 2 which comes out
in March.
Plus, it has that gnarly 3D screen thingie for the PSp too.

it's just snake tweaking on a 303, nothing special

A 'proper' metal gear solid will probably be coming out for
psp if rumours are correct. It may not be called solid, but
will definately not be acid.
I've never played it, but from what I have heard, taken on
its own it is quite an enjoyable game, but if you have any
expectations from playing other metal gear games, then you
are likely to find it a dissapointment.
For PSP I would recommend Lumines and Wipeout Pure. Also the
new James bond game coming out soon looks pretty hot!

When I got my PSP in december I bought Lumines, Armored
Core, and Wipeout Pure. I think my next purchase will be
Street Figher 3 Alpha Max and then maybe MGA 2. I just read
that they are releasing an interactive MG digital comic for
PSP. Looks like that is coming before the next Metal Gear
action / adventure game.

i like the title, it could be good for a new analogue acid
