ok, i'm fucking pissed off right about now.

What happened:
I used one simple plugin. Upon next save the plugin gives an
error. So i say "alright" and i delete the plugin, and
reload it. But it wont load because of some unknown error.
So fuck the plugin, *save*. Though, again, upon saving,
fruity gives me the shit that the file cannot be saved. I
didnt made that much of a change so i couldnt be bothered to
just shut down without saving. I shut down and fruity gives
me even more shit, doesnt wanna shutdown, crashes, freezes,
manual kill...
And now i cannot open the file anymore because the file is
corrupted or some plugin may have caused an error.

Question:
Anyone here that has an idea of how to help and to solve
this problem?

I've got the same problem mate. In fact I'm forced to make a
track of mine by keeping the program always opened until
I've finished it.

Obara: You should remember when you wanted to remix the
first track I did a couple of months ago, well, I couldn't
give you the fruity loop file for this problem.

go to C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FLStudio5\Trash bin and
open backup.flp (could be other drive or other flstudio
version)

weird, but infact i had a saving problem with one file.
well, not quite : a rendering/saving problem. so i just have
to leave a file unfinished. possible reason of the problem :
incompatibility. maybe a project started in FL5 won't work
as fine in FL6. dunno.

tridenti : i understand now.

obara:
it was the buffer override plugin thing that crashed on me
when i tried to save. But i noticed that it's not a plugin
that causes it _now_, the file is just gone, for good... and
i'm not happy with it at all.

i_x_ten:
i'm considering now, though i do not take such answer as a
funny joke or an attempt to make yourself look cool and
flashy.

i was being totally serious. why use an unreliable piece of
software? i used to use Buzz machines but it was the most
unreliable app ever , so i couldn't see the point and
stopped using it.

When you overwrite a song file, the previous one is not
really overwritten, instead it's placed here as a backup, so
that in case you made a mistake your project is not lost.

yeh but fruity has always been reliable for me, just not the
3rd party plugins i use for it. But it's fixed now, it was
infact bufferoverride that got stuck in it and corrupted
it.

(though sorry i sounded pretty bold there, but you gotta
understand the pain of losing a good piece of work in
progress)

yeah i totally feel the pain, i've been there, and thats why
i wouldn't consider using any software that crashes at all,
but if its fixed then thats cool.

I hate Cubase, I have Nuendo, and even though it's pretty
much the same thing, I find it a LOT easier to use. Weird.
Now I'm trying to go from my HEAVY FL use into Ableton Live.
I made a track with it and I'm really pleased with it so it
should be quite good.
