I was wondering if any of you used a freeware application
that lets you make and save PHP files. I've been using
Dreamweaver in class, but I need to do the work out of class
because there is never enough time to do the work in class
and I'm too lazy to use google at the moment and, you know,
it's fun to make topics.

So, anyone know of or use such an application?

use google you twat.. if you aren't too lazy to read it here
then looking it up at google shouldn't be a problem.. how
hard can it be... you probably wasted enough time making
this thread.

well, you see, I did use google first. The results
were...questionable. I downloaded a trial version of
Dreamweaver and it wouldn't open. I'd rather have someone
whom I trust recommend something.

i use html-kit at home. it has a boat load of
preferences, and does code coloring and hints and stuff.

it doesn't really have dreamweaver's design mode, which can
come in handy at times, and absolutely nothing beats
dreamweaver's code completion... but, html-kit is free and
it works with tabs and code coloring pretty well, so it's
better than notepad imo, if you're working with multiple
and/or large files.
