can i make firefox automatically open a new tab on pressing enter in the search box? it's madness to open a new tab before every search, might as well go to the search engine then

I have the tabbrowser preferences plugin, and that has a box you tick that allows you to open searches from the search bar in a new tab, and it also allows you to specify whether it should load in the foreground or the background...

my friend recommended: tab mix plus/but i've now configured drunken's one (removed the new tab button)
