are they essential in providing a rational part of who you are? are you comfortable with following it? do you even follow a strict routine everyday/week? is it beneficial?
i was just wondering... i dont think i've ever had one. i just wanted to know the praticality of having one and if its even worth it.

there is strict regimented times where i'm supposed to be somewhere at a specific time... but i miss most or don't go somewhere i'm supposed to be. total spontaneity, i end up doing basically what i want/whenever...
seriously, i guess i'm not functioning properly according to your sentiment. now saying that, am i experiencing total freedom? ... some would say i'm just fucking myself over.
in routines, i mean... i brush my teeth 3 times a day, shower and all that mundane shit, but for the most part i live pretty freely.

I work nine to five in an office. I try to overcome the boredom of my routine by thinking about sex all day.

isn't that a rountine in itself. ? ;) if boredom constitutes a routine, they why even do it in the first place.?
because we've learned that that's the only way to get AHEAD in life?
sorry, it seems like a complete paradox to me.

routine by nature is boring...its repetitious, constant, and never-changing
it makes me go crazy sometimes
yet at others its nice to know what to expect

Not a big fan of it. I have the things I like to do, but I never like following the same day plan unless I am currently on my own and without a job. Then the routine is essential (even if it only consist of playing videogames or whatever else) in terms of keeping a fellow sane. Other wise you start to get, yeah know ... BIZZZZAARRRREEEE

I routinely orbit around the sun and around the earth's core, the sun goes up, then down, and the moon farts around the sky whenever it wants to.
Life is all I've got to do, it's time consuming and very very aggravating.
