but it is how he achieves this amalgamation of chaotic beats and orchestral melodies that lends a delicate gravitas to epileptic beat-mashing while the cacophonic polyrhythms enhance the dry recital-hall feeling of the symphonic material?
well, indeed.

true, he isn't really good. I don't understand why his (below?) mediocre stuff gets released. he has a couple of good tracks. but nothing more then that.

So as for labels editing tracks etc., does that REALLY happen in electronica, idm, etc.?!? I mean, c'mon, most people dont even really care about this shit enough for labels to be all diva like. Given the technology I can imagine an artist coming to a label with 20 tracks and requiring it to be slimmed down... sure, I can see that. But having them physically edited? Doubt it. Maybe in Trance, maybe at Ibiza, but not here.
Anyways, if it cost $3000 to start this label, and VSnares was the first record with the Horse & Goat EP, and all money goes into the disc, then is it safe to assume he made $3000 or less? I heard he makes 10g's for each P-µ LP. Doing the math, yearly he prob makes enough not to have a day job, but its not like we will be seeing him on 'Pimp My Ride' any time soon. He prob. lives like you or I, with the exception that he doesnt have to work.
I guess the point is, even VSnares isnt living so grand that the labels he associates with are going in and physically editing tracks. I cant even imagine Warp doing that to Aphex. Would they even know where to begin to go in there and edit these tracks? I'm sure it happens in Pop music, but lets not compare here. We're talking about two entirely different universes.
