ok, jack, let me describe my Process lol in creating this remix: 1. i listened to a vibert/aphex live mp3. 2. as a kind of goofy thing to entertain myself, while this music was playing, i hastily programmed a pattern into Freebirth, a bizarre unlabelled software with no stop button or save feature, without listening to it. 3. as the mp3 ended, i played the pattern i created and heard it for the first time. 4. to take it one step further, i opened xmms (my linux equivalent of winamp) and played the vocal mp3 you provided, hearing it also for the very first time. 5. somehow, it synchronized perfectly! it was a lucky guess of the tempo and when to hit play. unbelievable. 6. here is the result - music created by pure coincidence: |
