grindcore?

in what way does that describe music?

trendy eletist douche: "uh well you see, when you take grind
music (what the fuck is that) and dig deep into the core of
the style, until you can't go any farther or it would be
screamcorepop, that's when you truly have grindcore. uh
huh."

?

grindcore: stuff like Anal Cunt, Pig Destroyer (great)
screamo: emo bands who sound a bit more metal (sux)

It's not that complicated.

uhm.... just listing 2 band names doesn't describe a genre
of music in the slightest.

I think we're just confused

it's not five genres, it's one genrename: "Hardcore,
Grindcore, Screamo, Metal and Punk."

it's a new genre

in a month or so, we'll have "post-Hardcore, Grindcore,
Screamo, Metal and Punk"

you make an good point... I'm so used to listening to musics
that sound quite different from one another, but I forget
that there are people out there who exclusively listen to
one genre made up of bands that all sound the same.

qrter: that made me laugh out loud :D
