Bought the "The Body Offset" LP last week but haven't really listened to it properly yet, too much new stuff floating around. Sounds quite old school in a good way, like there's no software involved. Never heard any of his other work, need to investigate. Any recommendations? |

Found this topic in the search engine. I love Bjørn svin. He's an unsung hero in danish music i think. Really has is own fucked up style. And he's a really nice down to earth guy i can tell you. I would reccomend anyone to listen to "benene på nakken" and then theres "kan tropisk". If you get used to it, its actually a really good album |

Yep. I like Benene på nakken and Mer Strøm. I think Kan Tropisk is hard to get into. Got to see him live at Roskilde some years ago. Had a nice time |

I seriously think he's one of the most "live" electronic acts out there. He's doing all kinds of shit live, with his sampler, looping new stuff, records stuff that he loops, or human beatboxes with effects on. Fucking dope! Kan tropisk is very odd. But is has some pearls on it i think. I'm really glad to see someone outside of Denmark liking Bjørn svin. BTW, i sort of have mixed feelings with the whole prinz ezo project. The sounds are excellent, but some of the tracks are just to dull. Not really my thing. |

yes, i was on a concert with him as Ezo, in addition to Flex at landmark on saturday. Quite cool, sounded like grimish techno. But a little bit predictable and tedious. He use his body very active live:) |

I'm quite convinced that he's straight..... But i know what you mean!!! Its just nice to see an electronic musician actually looking like he's enjoying what he does. I just wish you had a chance to see his human beatbox with effects. Its one of the dopest things ive ever seen, in electronic music. He simply just beatboxes, and puts shitloads of effects on it, that he alters really fast, distortion, flangers, chorus, pitch modulation. Truly great. |
