I'm pretty sure it's legit. just as thodob said.
from the orbital website (loopz.co.uk): "The majority of mp3s that i get asked about are not by Orbital - on 16th Feb 2001 we decided to ask the forum posters to msg any mp3s they had found on Napster that were Orbital fakes. The full list is below.:
Orbital - "Clockwork Orange Theme (live)" (its the intro that is played when Orbital came onstage during the 1999/2000 tour but its not composed by Orbital)
Orbital - "Bladerunner" Crystal Method - "Comin' Back (Orbital mix)" Erasure - "Ship of fools (Orbital remix)" (its The Orb) Orbital - "Confusion" (from the Blade soundtrack - its actually a remix of New Orders track)
Orbital - "Little Fluffy Clouds" (its The Orb) Orbital - "Pacman" (By PowerPill aka Aphex Twin) Orbital - "Pacman Theme (Techno Mix)" (By PowerPill aka Aphex Twin)
Orbital - "Blue Illision" (discussed in WHAT section) Orbital - "Tunnel trance" Orbital - "Journeys" (discussed in WHAT section The Orb - "A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules from the Centre of the Ultraworld (Orbital Mix)" (its The Orb)
Metallica - Fade to Black (Orbital Cover) Pet Shop Boys - Track unknown (Orbital Remix) Nine Inch Nails - Perfect Drug (Orbital Remix) Orbital - The Seven Samurai(Photek Remix) Orbital - Theme from Mission Impossible [ETC...]"
It's not on that list, so I think it's for real, but not only for that reason: it's also believably M.P. and definitely Orbital.

The Orb used to remix songs and call them "orbital mixes" before Orbital became popular. some of them are possibly down to that.

"this is neither Orbital or µ-ziq."
Well the source track is without doubt Orbital's "The Box", at least in the version I have - who knows who did the remix though. Not too familiar with Mike's work overall. I found no discographical placing for the track, so it might well be fake. A pretty interesting mix.

Well look, I know what the box sounds like (believe me, I know my Orbital), and there's elements here, including the bells, the bass and the analogue synths, although the interpretation is pretty free. I have no idea who's done it. Doesn't seem like an official release.
(I've sent a query to the webmaster at www.loopz.co.uk, so I'll update on this.)
