didn't you know that for years pixies have had jobs as
readers? they accompany every book that is made, a lifelong
job, and climb in your ear when you open the book and read
it to you, thus giving the effect that you think you can
read when in actual fact it is a little pixie reading in
your head.

Irvin Welsh had to order special scottish slang speakers for
most of his books.

Could be... :) Nah, but I mean that voice that you know is
there. Its a useless topic fair enough... but hell.

I always thought that voice was my better half.....

But I like Phiz's theory....

Sometimes I cant even understand what Irvine Welsh is on
about in his books... kinda strange with me being Scottish
and all. :)

Yes I know what you´re talking I hear it too not only when
I´m reading but also when I´m thinking and all the time
really its your brain working or is the invisible little man
that lives inside peoples heads although I didnt figure it
out yet which one is it!

To answer Jonesy's question:

Yup, most of em say "ken" instead of know. Ive got the kind
of Ewan McGregor accent myself. :)

Fernz that's a good question (voice in your head) i think
you don't hear it, you more feel the letters, you don't
really hear anything i believe

i'm not sure... but this could make me crazy now that i
think of it.

i don't even know for sure if it's a real voice at all (if
so it's probably near mine, though not the one you'd hear if
you hear me talking - a "better" and "more normal" version
probably) or just something "transparent"
ifyouknowwhatimean. .

i also know that i have another voice in my head when i
think of myself singing for example, DEFINITELY NOT my voice
' _ -

Physicists Hear High-Tech Whistle While They Work

It was music to the ears of physicists at the University of
California, Berkeley, when they forced liquid helium-4
through thousands of tiny holes and heard a whistling
sound.

Scientists are awesome!

6! I might be wrong about a single pixel, but I don't think
it's 6, no sir, maybe 2, but 6 is crazy talk.

Have you listened to lightning bolt? I've listened to
