I've been trying to find this for a long time and finally
did (thanks to wikipedia, naturally):

Allegro Non Troppo

The only part I ever saw was on some weird art channel long
ago, as described in the amazon review:

"An incredibly imaginative segment is set to Ravel's
"Bolero"; astronauts drop a Coke bottle on a planet and the
story of evolution is traced, beginning in the bottle."

This was very awesome and bizarre/imaginative animation,
maybe 6-8 minutes long of creatures marching somewhat and
mutating/evolving/plopping/oozing to this weird soothingly
repetitive melody (music that was composed by some dude with
a brain disease of some sort I think).

have you happened to see the one with the coke bottle at the
beginning? That's the only one I even know about; it was
very awesome but the others might suck.

here's a most incredible book on animation that was
introduced to me by AK47, some truly mindboggling/expanding
stuff on it and it comes with a DVD!! of everything it
describes

Whoa, that looks cool. Too bad it's a PAL dvd. I do have dvd
playing software though; just would have to reinstall it.
