An awesome and weird MP3 site.

This is a brilliant collection of 365 MP3s of "outsider"
music from the last 40 years. I've been addicted to it for
weeks. If you like Moondog, Wesley Willis, etc, then you'll
like this. It's not a commercial site or a net label, more
of a museum of strange sounds from musiciand on the edge of
society. Funny and fascinating.

man, what a good marketting jingle thing.

i probably haven't seen that since the late 80's and i still
remember it perfectly.

What about the "dic" jingle?
Does anyone remeber this?
A shooting star would appear after a cartoon (teddy ruckspin
or something like that), the word "dic" would be on the
screen
and a kids voice would say:
"Dic!"

I remember DIC! What about the guy that said "VIACOM", it
terrifying.

yeah, that was awesome too.

but, it didn't seem to bury itself in the collective
unconcious like ubu did. it had too be some sort of MKULTRA
keyword or something. it just had to.

remember the typwriter dude who tore the peice of paper out
and it floated over the camera lens? that was cool.

Yeah. The typewriter guy was good.
But me and my little sister would piss ourselves laughing
after the kid said "dick"!

what kind of marketting exec would be like, "yeah lets have
a little girl say "dick" at the end of every episode of
family ties. great idea team!"?

Ah, so you finally found Ubu. Download Roman Opalka's works.
He's a painter who for the last couple of decades paints
consecutive numbers. The mp3's have him reading 2 of his
paintings. Hilarious, you can hear how he's struggling to
hold back the laughter.
