So, once again, I noticed another promising auction for a
capybara 320 on ebay Ebay

Just so peoples heads are up, this is the tool that autechre
used to make most of confield, and a lot of their other
granular stuff. Its pretty much "the tool" to make wierd
sounds. I don't have enough money to bid on it (cause if I
did have that kind of cash I would), but I thought if
someone here did, I would want to give them the heads up.
Seriously. This shit kills everything.

Oh, just to add, the last one I saw on ebay that had no
reserve went for $350. I expected the bidding to skyrocket,
but it didn't. Its a $3000 system and more than worth
bidding on.

Yeah. With the full compliment of processors you can
practically generate and process an infinite ammount of
voices with no problems at all.

nope but that's just to wonderful to believe.

me...

Well, infinite is kind of an exaduration on my part, but
each processor is capable of processing a lot. And having
the full 28 processors aparently gives you 11.2 Gigahertz of
processing for audio alone.

of course - the facts are quite impressive but i would be
still afraid of buying that stuff if i had the money.

I would be all over this if I could afford it, the kyma is
just amazing. I'll have to stick to my kyma-samples for a
little longer I figure :p

Have you tried the Native instrument synthetic drums 2
samplebank? All of Atomtm's samples seemed to be made with
kyma.

Haven't tried it, but I've listened to it from their
