What's "depressing music"? Shit music's depressing, but...
who makes a "depressing" song? Something about... I don't
know, child poverty or the elderly?

i think the only way to know for sure is to have a show of
hands.

if the answer is yes, raise your hand. else, do nothing.

Yeah, I guessed as much. They're not depressing bands are
they? Surely that's a very simplistic view. For example, The
Smiths have a great deal of humour and irony... just because
a band or artist addresses topics outside of the usual pop
song theme checklist, or apporaches them in a novel way, ...
that's not instantly depressing, is it?

do you feel like you become alittle of an outsider when your
alone in your music taste ?

maybe you feel like you can not be an happy person because
you keep an image because you listen to quite serious
dark/deppressing music ?

bird if you want to be a bird in the picture. i am the blue
one so you cannot be the blue bird either.

Congratulations on being the only person that listens to The
Smiths, Joy Division, The Sound, The Associates, Autechre,
Aphex Twin, Radiohead and Nick Drake. Very good of you to
buy thousands, or sometimes millions of copies of all their
albums.

I like the horse picture. I'm actually a carriage tour
guide/draft horse driver with my job. I put the bridels on
our guys. Some are really good about it. I put it over their
head and put the bit bit up to their mouth and say "Open
Up!" and they do it. Winston, on the other hand is 5 year
old, so I have to put my entire hand in his mouth and then
put the bit in. Call PETA. They actually protest us one a
year, but PETA wants to "liberate" your cat and dog, as
having pets is a form of slavery.

I have a few tracks I am working on in a similar style.
The track in here was an early experiment with this stuff,
dunno if you heard it or not but it's the only one on line.

You're depressed. I'm depressed. You listen to Radiohead.
You feel better because some albino from Oxford knows "where
you coming from". Great!

Let's move on.

Most good dark music just impresses me rather than depresses
me, only the really powerful stuff can bring me to my knees.
Very rarely can ''sad'' music shift my mind. I like to
listen to music that's in a pickle, it's comforting.
