whats the diference between invoice adress and delivery
adress?

shall they be the same?

offline bob from Nottingham (United Kingdom) on 2005-10-27 05:53 [#01762345]

unless there is a specific reason for them to be different,
keep it the same.

For example, if you was buying a gift for someone and you
wanted it sent to their house.

offline nacmat on 2005-10-27 05:56 [#01762347]

its just that I moved house, so delivery adress has changed

but my visa is the same, and the visa has an adress too... I
just dont know

invoice address is the address the bank has listed for the
card you are using to pay. delivery is the address where you
want it delivered. So probably the same.

offline Dannn_ from United Kingdom on 2005-10-27 05:58 [#01762350]
Points: 7877 Status: Lurker

i guess it depends whether you have informed your bank of
your new address or not

offline bob from Nottingham (United Kingdom) on 2005-10-27 05:59 [#01762351]
Points: 4669 Status: Lurker

Have you registered yournew address with your bank? They
have to match up. If you haven't done so, have the invoice
for your old address, delivery for your new address.

What you buying, anyway?

HAHAHA

riiiiiiiiiiiight

we pay out the ASS for ONE 12" cause its an "import" -
imagine buying things by people who LIVE here (lex records
im looking at you) for import prices...i could run into
these fucks in my country but for some reason their LP's
cost $20+ usd...retarded

and "royal mail" can go royal fuck itself...WAY too
expensive...

the brits over charge for everything (of course i wouldnt be
complaining if i just bought shitty american music all the
time)

20$ is not much really. the average price i pay for a cd is
22$ and vinyl is about the same.

i dont buy cd's so i dont know much about that...but hence
the "+" sign...meaning MORE than 20, or 20 as a base...

you can't possibly pay as much for warp / rephlex records in
england as we do over here...that wouldnt make sense

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2005-10-27 06:50 [#01762401]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

yeah, brits might have it cheaper but not the rest of
europe.

i often order stuff from US because a cd is about 13$ there
which is about 10 eur but then i have to pay shipping costs
and custom tax but it's still cheaper than what i would pay
if i ordered it from uk. and the paradox is they are british
in the first place..

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2005-10-27 06:54 [#01762406]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

sure, although i've no idea what boston tea party with
records is. but the 'records' part sounds good enough.

offline euphonicfilter from illadelphia (United States) on 2005-10-27 06:56 [#01762409]

the boston tea party was when a bunch of saucy americans
jumped a british ship stocked with tea and threw the load
overboard into boston harbour - it was a statement against
the british "tea tax" - they wanted to sabotage the
crown...wicked...

so this time...we'll jump on a plane stocked with records
and smash the records...the boston record smash...itll RULE
!!!

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2005-10-27 06:59 [#01762416]

oh yeah of course...stealing is fine...so is smashing...

perhaps a couple of brits will see us doing it and say

"smashing"

haha...that works on two levels !!!

"we're from everyone's favoritre country, america"
- homer simpson

HAHAHAHA

unwarp*

offline euphonicfilter from illadelphia (United States) on 2005-10-27 07:48 [#01762475]
Points: 2443 Status: Addict

well i realized after i said that i should warn you, this
can fuck up your records...i say easily cause for some
reason since the first time i did it ive had no problems

put it on a flat surface that isnt heat sensitive, put
something that also isnt heat sensitive, the same size, and
reasonably heavy on top of it - SLOWLY heat with a hair
dryer...and POW...flat record

works, ive done it for a bunch of my hip hop 12's cause you
cant scratch or backspin warped records without the needle
jumping off...

offline nacmat on 2005-10-27 07:58 [#01762488]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker | Followup to euphonicfilter: #01762475

but if the record is totally covered underneath and above...
how do I heat it?

offline euphonicfilter from illadelphia (United States) on 2005-10-27 07:59 [#01762489]
Points: 2443 Status: Addict

well no it shouldnt be covered totally...ideally you want to
use a round surface to place on top of it so you can see the
sides of it like pancakes!!! that is a change...a dinner
plate with a brick on it may work...

offline euphonicfilter from illadelphia (United States) on 2005-10-27 08:00 [#01762490]
Points: 2443 Status: Addict

that is the change = that is the challenge

wow im retarded

offline nacmat on 2005-10-27 08:01 [#01762492]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker

ok... and it cannot harm the playing surface?

offline euphonicfilter from illadelphia (United States) on 2005-10-27 08:26 [#01762508]
Points: 2443 Status: Addict

yeah you dont want to melt the groove for sure

hence why you wanna make sure it is covered by
something...ideally something like a weight from a weight
bench but completely flat - so all your doing is heating up
the record not the grooves

do this with a record you dont give a shit about first...and
DONT point the hair dryer at the grooves...youll fuck em all
up...point it at the little sliver of black sticking out
from the side...!

nacmat, both addresses should be where you live, i.e. the
same.

and the brothomstates 12" is fantastic, if you haven't heard
it yet you won't be disappointed :)
