Hello all.

I was listening to my old stuff last night, and not to blow
my own brass instrument, but one track stood out as being
better than the rest. I've already spammed my EP months ago,
but I thought I'd squeeze a bit more juice out of it, for
this one track.

Out of all the tracks I've done, I think I'm most pleased
with this one, it doesn't seem gimmicky like my other stuff
sounds when I listen to it, and I think the mix is on.

Here is the song.

Its not exactly IDM, a bit Godspeed perhaps, MBV, or vetrmix
type AE. Please check it, chums.

i streamed the 96kbps version, it seems to lean toward the
m83 style shoegazing angle, maybe not as histrionic though.
i think it suffered from the compression and shit headphones
i'm using, but it was a nice change of pace from the usual.
maybe not refined enough for my tastes, but under the
circumstances i shouldn't be considered a credible witness.

"shoegaze" is by far and away the lamest genre
name...currently taking the crown away from "emo-hop" and
before that "emo"

Thanks dude. Yes I suppose it is quite M83, I hadn't thought
of that really, but yeah. Thanks for your comments.

I think its quite good - its a bit tongue in cheek unlike
IDM which is takes itself a bit too seriously...

"idm" is awesome cause its condescending by its connotation

plus the kids who are real "idm" or whatever are just as
lame as "emo" kids or "goth" kids...

sweet...

i consider myself a part of the "soul" genre !!!

i like music with soul, of which there is less everyday

oh yeah i shoegaze when they're untied !!!

shoegaze = condescending towards the music

idm = condescending towards all other "dance" music

find the journalists who coined either of these terms and
bring me their heads. i will reward you with a slice of
drunken mastah's kake. be quick about it!

i always kinda liked the genre name "shoegaze"
i think commenting on the fact that these musicians are
always looking down at their feet to stomp effects pedals is
quite apt.
