I'm going to say the unsayable, YES. And it's not about specifically this thread. But, I was just looking at WATMM, and I have to say, they've got a far higher quality of discussion. Don't get me wrong, Xltronic is a far, far superior site to WATMM, and the future only holds more greatness. But what goes on in the messageboards, XLT is going to shit and, contrary to popular belief, more wacky threads and "surreal humor" isn't really the thing to bring back the glory days. This is a music site, you need people that either know what they're talking about or that at least have a passion for music. But this bullshit... is bullshit. |

I just noticed that on WATMM there are more votes at polls than xlt, and that's not good because we always have the polls "pinned". The wattmers use the normal topics to make polls, which means they can be un-bumped... |

i miss the good music discussions we had here, though. it was better than watmm because people actually had something to say on occasion. i think that with the moderators rendered essentially powerless to get rid of obvious trolls, the quality of the board has gotten buried under the shitstorm. i would like to see a progressive moderator added or give the current mods more free reign. |
