Off "Selection 16".... what a great track... fantastic bass
and percussion. uses that "ceephaxy" cheeky vocal too.

selection sixteen as a whole is a great album too... very
underrated among his fans I would say

Selection Sixteen is wierd. It has some excellent tracks
but doesn't feel (for me anyway) like a proper release. It
is hard to converse exactly what I mean by that because it
is not meant in a negative way at all. I didn't even know it
was coming out and I was in HMV on the release day and saw
it on the shelf so picked it up because I had my CD player
on me and had a 40 minute walk to my mates house. The
Ceephax mix at the end is my personal favourite though.

Schizm2 mix or whatever its called is a stomper.

I agree it sounds like a B sides compilation somehow

I agree, it's a brilliant release. This, and Hard Normal
Daddy, show that Squarepusher is both a great jazz musician
and a skilled programmer and mangler of sounds; he's the
most interesting and satisfying "IDM" artist out of the
whole lot because of this, imho.

i_x_ten: cheers for the lyrics!

Luke Vibert always plays an aul Selection 16 number while
DJing. funny how squarepusher never plays any of these
stompers in a live set..... he's done so with most of his
other albums.

Mind Rubbers to the max! Then again, Acid Tape Track rox, so
