They are nice, but some of that out of focus blur seem a
little artificial to me, but I'm no photographer so what do
I know :p

I use photoshop for most of the extremely blurred areas of
focusing.

They're the worst, most anonymous photos I've ever seen. You
can point and click, WELL DONE! Have a biscuit.

I'm totally inspired by that one XLTRONIC member who owns
the GRACIFORM Photoblog I really love his stuff. I don't know who
he is, but if you are reading this, thanks for inspiration.

I rather enjoyed the blur in 'Blue Windows, Blue Sky'
The only place it seemed a bit forced was 'Into the Heart'.

I hate photography.

Somebody else goes to enormous lengths to build an amazing
piece of architecture but, oh *SNAP* I've taken a picture of
it, am I not a GENIUS!!!!

Millions of years of evolution and planetary changes lead to
a certain landscape but... oh *SNAP* I've taken a picture of
it, am I not a GENIUS!!!!

A child is dying in a desert and his mother cannot feed him,
there is pure pain in her eyes, but, wait up, *SNAP* I've
taken a picture of it, am I not a GENIUS!!!!

A plastic bag, on a bit of wasteland, meanigless until... oh
*SNAP* I've taken a picture of it, am I not a GENIUS!!!!

Not only have you shat in someones thread, you've also taken
a bias outlook on photography. Nevermind this genius crap,
allot of photography can envoke feelings. It's immersive,
enjoyable to look at. But OH NO, the photographer has said
to himself "I'm proud of that one". How dare he show
feelings of self admiration!!! (btw swift_jams never even
made such a statement so stop rambling)

seconded. these photos are nice but nothing special. swift
isn't proclaiming to be some kind of prodigy, he just took
some nice photos, which he didnt have to share with us, and
if we didn't care we don't need to shit in this thread.

dan, you write music don't you? plenty of people don't care
about that and probably think your music is shit. doesn't
mean they have to go round saying it, just for kicks and
cheap thrills, on a message board. think about that next
time you write a track for grinning ape. leave swift alone.

I'll "shit" in anyone's thread I see fit, it's my way of
expressing myself. Neither you nor _gwanker_ have made a
cohernet point beyond "Swift Jams is a sentient being, he's
alerted us to that fact by pointing a camera at some stuff
and then fucking around with the result in Photoshop,
RESPECT TO THAT" so fuck you, fuck your sub-par IDM-lite,
fuck your mum, fuck your squalid ambition of being a middle
manager for your local Tandy retail outlet, fuck your ideas
which are all shit, fuck your piss poor little come back
that'll go "im not bothered what u think, looser", fuck
everything you said before, now and in the future, and I
piss on your fucking chips.

funny how when someone uses words not found daily in The Sun
they're attacked - are you a victim of the dumbing down of
society so that you need to adopt post-moronic ironicism by
way of trying to palm it off as humour or validation?

It's even more funny when someone analyzes someone wrongly.
Thats not why I 'attacked' you (jokingly I might add) it was
that headphase where everything is meaningless.

It's also funny the number of times someone inserts the
disclaimer 'but I was joking!' or something similar to
attempt to discredit what their replyee has writ. I was also
referring to the very thing you seem to think I wasn't.

I find it vaunted and esoteric that I now have to treat my
ontology with ostensible cogency. It's usually me who would
make such a correlative statement like that to others, as I
strongly represent the implicit syntax of an infinitum
nature.

Yes, I will try that thanks. I'm just really learning about
photography and editing and stuff. It's fun, and I like
sharing my stuff with other people just to get my 2 bits in.
I mean other people share their stuff here, why can't I?
But I guess I shoudn't be angry for negative criticism. It's
criticism either way, and that's what I'm really looking
for.

You're right. We'll that depends on how you look at the
replies., whether you like who is giving the replies or not.
This is all too confusing so lets just say: "Hey, that kid
took some pictures, they aren't bad, but they aren't
necessarily good either, he took them though cause he liked
the scene and uhh, xltronic is the place to be."

Not meaning to be over-critical here, but why not share
something you're actually proud of, instead of your first
few snaps? They look like you've cut up an
on-the-edge corporate stock photography catalogue,
added your own titles for no apparent reason, then hopped on
the interweb to spread the good news.

my advice is stick w/ analog

digital pics / arts / design is flooded with hacks these
days

older formats look so much nicer and are more fun /
interesting to produce then simply pointing and clicking

but i do like the color in your pictures !

would you use the example of a cold, dessicated french fry

anyway, here is a nice example of one of the finer of the
