Andy is over and we are trying to figure out how to add in
a a microphone line in channel; to FL. Is there a way? Cause
we have a guitar plugged into the mic line and it plays, but
we cant add it as a channel. thanks a ton.

in the mixer [FX button], select a channel, then at the
bottom of the mixer screen choose a channel from the IN
menu.

In the mixer window, select an unused fx-channel and in the
bottom left corner you select the input for that exact
channel. It will read right/left analog-in or asio-in
whatever depending on your setup.

Then you click the little "rec" button in the bottom right
corner of the mixer.

It just says "none" when I try to select something. Like
there is nothing to select.

Ok, and I pressed the image og the cable jack for AUDIO and
it only lets you change output, no input at all. The only
thing that says input is at MIDI.

As far as I know, you can only assign a line/mic input on
the FL mixer if you are using an ASIO driver. I switched
over to DirectX and Primary Sound Driver mode and, like you
said, only "none" is selectable in the input drop-down box.
