how amazing was that? Just seen it last night and its the
most enjoyable time i've had at the cinema for a long, long
time.

Serenity Trailer

possibly the best film of its type since the original star
wars films, personally i'd even rate it higher. I've been
off sci-fi movies for ages, they all seem to be hollow with
tonnes of special effects, the new Star Wars films being the
most high profile offenders. This is completely different,
characters you care about, which means the action is more
intense because you actually care who survives. The story is
pretty good too, much deeper and detailed than most sci-fi
films but really its the characters that make this film.
There better be a sequel!! Anyone else here seen it yet?

from the first trailer I saw, it looked like a low-budget,
low-humor piece of shit... perhaps I was wrong.

I haven't seen it yet, nor have I ever seen an episode of
"Firefly", so perhaps it's great.

I just can't stand the title..

guy who wrote it wrote buffy so i think it's gonna suck no
matter how high the scores are. not passing complete
judgement until i've seen it, though.

well, the IMdb scores aren't anything to go by in any case.

I like Buffy, it was fun.

no wonder not many people don't know about this film or
aren't going to see it if this is how people percieve it. At
least its getting pretty amazing reviews and from word of
mouth hopefully people will actually realise its worth
seeing.

The again I just think we're all doomed to sequels of xxx
and Scooby Doo...

It made me not want to see it after I heard the preview say
'a more fun throwback to the original star wars' or
something like that.
...It reminded me of some kind of generic product that says
something like 'If you like _____, try THIS!'

I looked at a variety of UK film magazines and everyone gave
it 5/5. If you went to see any of the new Star Wars films
see this, its everything they should have been.

I'm a huge fan of the show but I was a bit disappointed in
the movie. I'd rather they had just made two or three new
episodes and put them to disc. It was nice to see the crew
again though, worth the price of admission at any rate.
