Was anyone else down there on Saturday 1st October for that
one? It was loud as hell, very sweaty, but good fun. Warrior
Queen MC was entertaining. The was one track The Bug played
that I've never heard before - it was very, very heavy - but
everyone went nuts when the bass hit.

Saw Vibert play at Union here in Brighton the other week
too. A very acid heavy set with a couple of grime tracks
thrown in. None of the white middle-class Brighton audience
warmed to that though, so he went back to the acid to round
things off after playing My Red Hot Car. He opened with
Windowlicker too. I enjoyed it, but his set was nowhere near
as good as when I saw him in Nottingham in 2004. The
atmosphere wasn't quite right either.
The rest of the night was your standard, run of the mill
Ninja Tune stuff. Ok, but not amazing.

i think overall that turnouts are smaller here as opposed to
the UK and overseas areas. Due to expensive traveling over
seas it might not be to fruitful to fly over here for a
minimal turnout.

Our genre is quite small
