You know you can't say no, don't you... :P

On a slightly related note, akai just announced the mpc2500.
Among other new things, it has 16meg memory upgradable to
128 meg, copy and paste editing, time stretch, multiple
outs, and the option to install a cd burner. Plus its black.

black

BLACK

PS. Don't watch the demo. It sucks, the guy obviously
doesn't know anything about it. You'd think they would have
someone who knows what they were talking about.

But if I were that guy, I would probly just look at it and
carress its smooth black finish untill the camera came on
too, then be stuck with what to do with it.

Ha ha, that is one of the worst gear vids I've ever seen.
Nothing he actually does seems to affect the sound. It's
like some n00b hitting "play" on the demo whilst repeating
the blurb off the box and pointing at things.

I like the way he looks away from the camera a couple of
times, almost like he's checking with his supervisor :)

Yeah. Akai haven't even attempted to produce any kind of
buzz for that thing at all. It seems like they have given up
or something.

I haven't ever had a chance to play with one of those
machinedrum things. I hear good things tho.
