yes, everything is just decaying but not dead just yet. in
winter everything dies. including insects. in texas, this is
excellent but we rarely get snow here (which is funny,
because the past two winters we've had snow on one day in
the winter) so it's just cold, dark and bitter.

if theres one thing better than moaning about summer being
too hot, its gotta be moaning about winter being too cold.

of course! why can't it stay in comfortable 50-70s
temperatures all season? stupid ecosystem.

...i actually like having different seasons a lot, even if
it means sometimes depressing weather, sometimes too hot and
sometimes too cold.

but what i find stupid is different temperature scales...
why can't we either all use fahrenheit, or all use
celsius/centigrade? i can see a point even in having
different languages, but someone prove me that that
fahrenheit/celsius thing isn't just pointless and
annoying...

actually, that's my favorite temperature range. right now in
texas, we're still in the mid 90s during the day, which is
somewhat unusual for september, but not surprising. we had a
hot summer, but we've had worse.

i don't mind different seasons either, it's just that winter
is usually depressing for me. especially the holidays. :(

according to wikipedia:
* 10s Deep Frost.
* 20s Light Frost.
* 30s Cold. Close to freezing.
* 40s Cold. Heavy clothing needed.
* 50s Cool. Moderate Clothing required.
* 60s Warm. Light clothing.
* 70s Moderately Hot. Summer clothing.
* 80s Hot. Bearable. Minimal clothing.
* 90s Very Hot. Take precautions against overheating.
* 100s Dangerously Hot.

according to some converter:
50°f = 10°c
70°f = 21°c

in britain it seems to be a horrible mix of metric and
imperial.

short distances = meters/centimeters
the length of your cock = inches
long distances = miles
body weight = stone & lbs
weight of anything else = kgs
weight of weed = ounces
weight of coke = grams
measure of beer = pints and fluid ounces
temperature = whatever people feel like using

it really is bloody stupid.

i have no idea how far 1Kilometer is, and i know how long a
mile is but i don't know how many yards are in a mile.

gah... o_o

well at least i know what a pint is.

(1 mile = 1.6 km.)

bit like the english language i think, all mixed up,not that
its a bad thing just takes getting used too

i dunno where i stand with winter this year
last year autumn gave me the fear big time + i turned into
an alchohilic
cos gettin drunk w/ my friends eased it off

this year it is similar so far but less intense, see how it
goes
like that Manic Street Preachers (eurggg ) song lyric
"i love the winter,it brings us closer together"
tis true

hahahaha

• 1 Imperial pint (UK) = 20 UK fluid ounces = 0.568261
litres.
• 1 pint (US, wet) = 16 US fluid ounces = 2 US cups =
0.473176 litres.
• 1 pint (US, dry) = 0.550610 litres.

▪ avoirdupois ounce defined by the avoirdupois
system of mass (see pound). There are 16 ounces in the
avoirdupois pound. The avoirdupois ounce is approximately
28.35 grams.
▪ troy ounce defined by the troy system of mass. In
troy weight, there are 12 ounces in a pound, and a troy
pound is 5760 grains (about 373.24 g), rather than 7000
(about 453.59 g). Note: at roughly 31.10 g, the troy ounce
is about 10 per cent more than the more-common avoirdupois
ounce. These troy ounces are now used only when weighing
precious metals like gold and silver. One ounce of gold is
always 31.1 g.
▪ apothecaries' ounce defined by the now-obsolete
apothecaries' system of mass. This ounce was the same size
as the troy ounce, and its symbol was ℥ (Unicode
0x2125).
▪ The fluid ounce unit of volume also exists in the
two versions of 28.41 ml (Imperial) and 29.57 ml (U.S.).
▪ The ounce-force (see pound-force) is the force
exerted by a mass of 1 oz avoirdupois at the standard
acceleration of gravity, usually borrowing the value which
is official for defining kilograms-force, 9.80665 m/s².
Thus 1 ozf is approximately 278.0 millinewtons.

talk about sillily tricky units... : )

The weather is getting colder... the leaves are falling...
the days are getting shorter... you know what that means...

XBOX360

Fall/autumn/whatever the official name is, this is my
favorite season. Such a fine balance. Every day looks and
feels right, the weather doesn't make my decisions for me.
