I was just curious...as to which of the 3 was everybody's
favorite....

Mine would be PART II - The Two Towers
I love em all, but part II just is darker than the rest.
...which I like.

CHEERS!!!

I agree, Two Towers for me, the battle at Helm's Deep I
think is the best part of the whole Trilogy.

I would choose the third one, I think. I assume we're
talking extended editions here.

Now that the trilogy is all rapped up, I have to say that I
enjoyed the first one the best, by far.

There weren't quite as many shots of the gang running around
on the tops of mountains in that one.

On top of that, the first one felt like a story, with a
beginning, middle and end. Much more enjoyable for me.

yeah, i know its cos of how the films were made and crap,
but the 2nd one SO didnt have an ending.
after the movie everyone was like, 'what?!'

I prefered Lord Of the Cock Rings (cert. 18)
but for some reason I can only find it at my seedy Prime
Time Video shop. I don't think it was in any decent cinemas.

I also agree that cinematically Two Towers was the best;
like d_b said the battle for Helms Deep was the best part of
the Trilogy, also the cinematic at the end with the flooding
of Orthanc was pretty epic. But in terms of the one which
stuck most to the original, it has to be the first one
(which was also very good).
The reason the Return of the King was bad was because the
Two Towers film didn't finish at the same time the
respective book finished, the producer/director had to
animate 1 and half books, which is impossible unless you
want a 7 hour film.
The Oliphaunts were pretty cool though.

(I would have watched it for 7 hours)

I liked all three. Altho the last one had the weakest battle
scenes (just because their was so much happening, it just
became a distraction of itself).

I heard if you do enough ketamine and put on any of
Autechre's albums they match up perfectly to this series.

i could answer that, but... what's the point?

it's a whole story divided in three parts, not three
separate movies.

By the way,,,

Is Gandalf the biggest pussy wizard in the history of
wizards?

I didn't even see him shoot one fireball...

The only magic powers he has is the respect of
everyone,,,and he can make it really bright outside.
