i like it. a nice vocal arrangement, and i like the somewhat-dirty mix of the layers. the rough accoustic guitars clash well with the deep strings and the chorus of vocals. for what it is, it's quite good. i enjoy it, especially the guitar-solo that comes in around 1:50 or so. good stuff, sir. i approve.

Yeah I just recorded the guitar straight through my B.C. Rich Warlock via the "mic in" line to about 5 channels in Audacity, then did some editing to the sound/timbre. It doesn't seem like a metal guitar at all. Then the string part I just slumped together real quick and recorded some knob movement.
