This topic should have 47 replies by now but instead it has
1 which is this one. Pathetic. You lot don't know good music
when I talk about it on an internet.

I've no idea what you're talking about, but I read your
topic with interest.

Lee has certainly implemented Zilty's First Rule when
posting about music - never give information about the
artist(s) in question, never link to their site, etc.

Astrobotnia Part 1 - The Wing Thing track. I have liked
Astrobotnia a lot this week and will continue to like it
until the start of next week.

Zilty looks like a fucking fag word...NEVER hit up my topic
with a reply containing the word Zilty or I'ma fly a ladyboy
assassin to your house to kill you.

According to me aleksi is making the most important music on
rephlex and is doing it from the shadows. Often overlooked
while people fawn over the newest RDJ/ae/boc... aleksi is
one of the best talents on the Rephlex roster.

The only gripe i really have and it really isnt a gripe is
cylobotnia. I just didnt like it all that much. It was
interesting for what it was but just didnt strike a chord
with me

He's not as musically good as Aphex but he is still very
good and ets face it not many people can touch da'phexter.

Ohhh. I just think of all the tracks as being off of
Astrobtnia 1, 2 or 3, sorry. OK! Good! Back on track now.

ZILTY!

Nowadays i do like aleksi a bit more. I dont know why. While
i have payed alot of attention to Wasted Sunday i think i
may have never outplayed any of his albums. Listening to all
in moderation.

Sometimes aphex while extremely talented fails to tickle my
fancy.

I'd be curious as to what would happened if they worked
together.

Cyclobotnia was weak, especially given how good the other
astrobotnia releases was. Mood bells-sounding rubbish that
sounded like it was 90% cyclob, 10% astrobotnia.

you didn't like mood bells?
not even majorette?? it's such a beautiful track... :)

cylobotnia is weird but full of details and intricate
evolving soundshapes making it an interesting, challenging
listen

i do prefer astrobotnia tho... tracks like the wing thing,
untitled, acidophilus and miss june are pure moment of
brilliant braindance

The way Ceri portrayed the percentages kind of made sense to
me.

Now if you want to talk Astrobotnia just listen to track 1
on Part 2. Ho lee cow!!

I wasnt much of a fan of mood bells either. I was a fan of
cylobian sunset though!

Don't get me wrong, Cyclob's earlier work was great and
Rewind and Cut the Midrange are classics. I just think that
his recent output has been lame

E-man: Yep, whole album was no good IMO. All sounded alike,
boring sounds, nothing catchy or interesting for me.
