Alright this is the end-all of the list your favorite
threads. List (no more than) your top 10 electronic artists
(in order) and your favorite song by them. It might take
you a few minutes, but fuckit, you never have to post on one
of these lists again, woohoo! (unless its on a different
topic...)

Remember this is by favorite artist not track:

Aphex Twin / Alberto Balsalm
µ-ziq / Summer
Squarepusher / Port Rhombus
Boards of Canada / Pete Standing Alone
Cex / Am I Soundboy
Bochum Welt / Star Cluster
Chris Clark / Diesel Raven
DJ Shadow / Midnight in a Perfect World
Mouse On Mars / Tux & Damsk
Plaid / Assault on Precinct Zero

I tried my best to keep it by not just what I am currently
into but who really deserves these 10 spots.
EVERYONE MUST PARTICIPATE!!! Thank you.

Because this place seems more of a hub for all types of
electronica... and personally I think Aphex is only okay.
Quite bland compared to a lot of the other stuff out there.
If I put him on the list he'd be about 15th with Peek
824545201.

Aphex is head and shoulders above the rest!!!! Somebody
strangle that kid!! ;-)

I know Xanatos said ELECTRONIC artists, but I don't think
there's even 10 electronic artists I'm extremely passionate
about, so I'm just doing any genre.

Beatles- Strawberry Fields Forever
Aphex Twin- Rhubarb
Autechre- Rae
Squarepusher- Wap 155 Untitled
Pink Floyd- Time
Radiohead- Let Down
Mu-Ziq- Midwinter Log
Boards of Canada- Roygbiv
The Who- Won't Get Fooled Again
Rolling Stones- Satisfaction

I just don't like him because he doesn't stick with one
style. He just throws out a flurry of different styles and
half of it sucks in my opinion. RDJ Album is great, but
drukQs and ICBYD are shit (in my opinion).

aperson I agree with your logic about RDJ that at least half
of his stuff is shit. But what about the (lets say) 10%
that isn't shit? It's the most mindblowing melodies and
drums and electronic mastery there is. And I Care
Because You Do
is shit? Good god man!

Yeah, like the RDJ Album and SAW 85-92 and SAW II. But the
thing is some tracks on SAW II make me lose interest, and
the back half of SAW 85-92 sucks. And let's pick apart how I
play RDJ Album

4 - Skip it
Cornish Acid - It's good
Peek 824545201 - This track rules
Fingerbib - Shite
Corn Mouth - It's okay
Then I skip to Girl/Boy song. but the good songs make it
awesome, it's still just too inconsistent.

nacmat I'd love to say that just because I idolize the guy,

but when I really look at the discography, I do NOT listen
to most of those tracks. Sure on his major releases RDJ,
Come To Daddy, ICBYD everything is masterwork. But half of
druqks is filler, and some of his other stuff makes me think
the whole release is filler =)...hardly anything he does is
good to me.

50% shit
40% Very Good/Genius
10% Greatest musical compositions of the last 50 years (all
time?)
