apologies if this is old news, but the search engine
doesn't throw up any matches...

my local HMV branch has a card in the aphex section saying
that hangable auto bulb is released on CD in october.

Meh...

Warps just scraping for ways to make more money from Rich.
That's all really.

Was that sincere or a jab?

I really don't try to run around as Captain opinion. I'm
just coming from the disappointment of the "Remix" album
fiasco. I was so bummed to find that some of the rtracks
had been edited...

And it's not like warp has a lot of exciting "new" releases
at the moment.

I don't blame them for being desperate. I just see this as
that kind of move.

Agreed.

You know, I get really torn on these kind of issues. Because
on the onbe hand, I have to be greatful for all the great
releases that Warp has provided me with over the years. On
the other hand, I get grossed out by blatant salesmanship of
an artists work...

ho hummm.

a cd quality copy anyway, if you want one just ask someone
who knows me (i.e. so i 'm not breaking and laws by not
stating any names, directions, torrents etc.

vinyl isn't very portable and i'm too poor (yes, too poor
even tho i live in america) to afford a mp3 player let alone
a cpu to d/l shit with for that matter (no, this isn't
mine), so i kinda appreciate it when an old piece of vinyl
finally gets released on cd cuz i've never even heard the
music at all before.

btw what the fuck do you kids do that you have these crazy
ass fuckin computers and shit anyway!?!

warp would do better financially if they were to press a
couple more vinyls of hab 1 and 2 in exactly the same style
and then bosh them on ebay in mint condition and let the
bids roll. if they really need the money.

hangable auto bulb eps were very good yes.

i'm impatient to see the artwork.
(and if they'll release it in one single cd, or a set of two
3"cds (that would be nice! but expensive too)... hope not
two plain cds, that would be dumb... hope they will remaster
it or something too)

this is so old news...i remember that this has been told 1
1/2 years ago...that there will be a cd release....

also what HMV - has on its side.....i don't think that there
will or is ever a cd release....why should only hmv announce
a cd release... and no other cd store ?

There was an interview with aphex where he has told...."i
want to keep them (rare) or something".....
