Just 2 let you know, I've got these 2 rare RDJ items on
eBay:

AFX - Hangable Auto Bulb EP

GAK - GAK 1-4

They aren't rare. I personally own 10 copies of each. Plus
when HAB is released on CD in October the price of the vinyl
will drop, so now isn't really a good time to buy...but
would probably be a good time to sell to stupid people.
Spam WATMM quick.

Getting rid of HAB before the CD re-release devalues it
massively, eh? Wise man. I'll pick up a mint vinyl copy for
£40 once the CD is out, but thanks for the offer.

Yeah and you missed the '&' - it's not the final installment
of Analord like u led me to believe :(

Hey please do not imply evil manners please. Personally, I
probably would never sell any of my collected ae stuff, but
RDJ has become quite worthless for me. A matter of taste.
And yes, of course it's better to sell it now than after a
cd release. I bought the bleep mp3s when they appeared and
I'm quite happy with them.

you cant scratch very well with mp3's.

i don't really think the price will drop once the cd is
released, people will still want the vinyl. people have been
able to d/l the tracks for a few years now, so what is so
different? i will probably buy the cd though, just so i can
put 320kps aac files onto my ipod, cos i have just got some
shitty wmv files on there at the minute.

320kbps onto an ipod? Overkill!

whys that then? i know that 128kps sounds ok, but only
through headphones. turn it up full belt through a p.a. the
sound goes to shit.

I just can speak of lame mp3, assuming preset-standard
(which means like vbr@~200kbps) is transparent to 99% of all
ears I'd say 320kbps is overkill. But this is just
nitpicking, there a lots of debates about the importance of
quality and about the end of audio compression (as disk
space becomes cheaper and cheaper)

vinyl > cd > mp3
pure > sampled > compressed

what is there to debate?

it to come out in oct. i haven't heard any of it yet, so it
will sound totally fresh to me. that's why you fuckers are
all like aphex... blech, overkill. d/l everything, even
fakes. how many of you bought analord that don't have "A"
table? hahaha! i'm a wait till it comes out on cd thanks.

Well, analogue then - an unsampled signal, so pure in this
sense.
