I can well remember how they compared Múm with Autechre in the beginning, which was actually a reason for me to check them out.
I'd never and still haven't heard sweet dreamy IDM like Múm before. They have an unique sound which I love!
Smell Memory is by far my favorite song, I like the way they managed to build up the climax in this song.
For the mods: Is it possible to also add the CD release of this fantastic record?

I don't know this Múm album too well to be honest, although I do have a copy. I've given a lot more of my attention to Finally We Are No One. When I have listened to Yesterday Was Dramatic, Today Is Ok I've found it to be a similar affair: Etherial, delicate, organic-sounding electronica. All skittering beats and fragile melodies, buried so deep in static that they only crawl out and stroke your hair after several listens.

Hmmm. Is this the instrumental one, or the one with vocals?

Hmm. Just realised I'm thinking of "Please smile..." I like that very good, but I'm not too keen on "Summer make good". I think they are best with no vocals. Strange thing, this Icelandic sound...

i really like this album. my faves are i'm 9 today, smell memory, the ballad of the broken birdie records, slow bicycle, and i recently discovered how good the second half of awake on a train is. i think it's my favourite part of the album.
