It'd be nice to get either the set or a clip of the section
in question.

I would put a clip up but I have no access to any webspace.
It is the downbeat track it mixes into quite cheesey and
slow for mr.afx.

Yes he played it for a good two or three minutes at the
Glade Festival. Not really much song progression must be a
12 inch no?

The more I listen to this the more I wouldn't be suprised if
it's an unreleased AFX track. Listen to the beat, theres a
couple little afx rolls in it. Melodies are ridiculously
sweet.

There's certainly other unreleased AFX on there like at
42:26. Crazy track, live piano, breakbeat, acid - pretty
classic.

What about that electro one before? He plays that out alot,
thats the one with the vocals in it. "racing... down the
track" wtf is that.

Also what about the hip-hop one at 3:55?

offline rezpeni on 2005-08-11 17:30 [#01692328]
Points: 333 Status: Lurker

Actually if you listen to the 38:00 and 42:26 back to back
they seem to very much go together. I am betting both are
AFX for sure now. The piano is very very xmd5a.

offline rezpeni on 2005-08-11 17:31 [#01692329]
Points: 333 Status: Lurker

Actually considering xmd5a is an Aphex track these are
probably Aphex Twin tracks. I promise not to post anymore
for at least an hour.

I know the exact track or section of audio you are talking
about b/c i listen to it at least 30 times a day. As far as
i know, its unreleased aphex...but he better be polishing it
up because its a gem that totally needs to be released
properly.

also that one track he played live in rome...its got that
SH101 bass line and a 4/4 kick and hi hat. and this awesome
synth over it...i listen to that at least 50 times a day

Track at 38:00 is Relish the Through by Tipper. I still
stand by the one at 42:26 being Aphex Twin though (not AFX!
heh). I'm not always right, just mostly - funny I posted
almost a year ago in this thread.
