oh, I like groove magazine. I'll have a quick look at your
site but if it's not as good as groove, forget it.

I've read the Untilted review and another one that was a bit
lack lustre. Give me a minute I'll tell you if it deserves
another 's' IMO ofcourse.

I like the look of the front page. It was easy on my eyes.

I will now read an article of someone i have never heard of
and let you know if it was helpful to me

I read:

A Guy Called Gerald - To All Things What They Need - K7
Records

I like the fact that is wasnt overly long. Three short
paragraphs was good because it held my attention. Usually i
dont like reading reviews but i figured what the hack.

Anyways i had to read this one because i like A Guy Called
Gerald. It caught my eye and i figured that i would rather
read about them so i guess i lied.

ok on to the article itself. I was concerned because usually
in the genre of music we support you tend to find articles
peppered with unusual vocab. I hate that and when i read a
fuggin article i dont want to have a dictionary with me.

The saving grace was that this was not one of those
articles. That was a relief right off the bat. The
progression of the article was good. A touch of background
and compairitive description and then right to the point. No
fussing around and i was surprised with what i read in the
last paragraph.

To me the article seemed rather honest. Like something a
friend would say to you while browsing CD's at a store and
gentlely recommending another CD based on his disappointment
with this one. Good approach.

I generally liked the article and the site looks nice!

this is the kind of review that is intended to show how good
the reviewer thinks he is at writing.

it tells you little to nothing about the actual record.

I cant believe that i almost posted to ask which reviews you
two read. Thank God i remembered i could scroll up. I was
almost embarrassed.

I will now read the Untilted article.

Well first thing i noticed is that it has a different
reviewer.

Alex Reynolds as opposed to Nick Southall who skillfully
wrote an article that i actually enjoyed. Its quite a bit
longer so lets see if it holds my attention....

*reads*

Nope. I stopped half way through. I felt as if the reviewer
isnt as diverse when it comes to music as myself. I could
listen to the album and find both positives and negitives.
But in this article its more negitive and when i read it i
couldnt help but think:

"its easy to trash something but it takes something else to
appreciate what and why an artist does something"

You see we are all so quick to judge and analyze music but
why? Let the music be a book. Dont go into it expecting
something. We dont deserve anything anyways. Instead let the
music tell you its own story. Let it be itself then you can
begin to understand the thoughts/feelings and ideas of the
artist.

Because the reviewer came across as close minded i couldnt
continue reading it. I also appreciate smaller articles.

And when qrter posted "this is the kind of review that is
intended to show how good the reviewer thinks he is at
writing."
i could kind of see where he was coming from.

Thanks for sharing though
