What's your favourite album?

Mine's between 'Out From Out Where' and 'Permutation'

Love them all though. Really great stuff!

i've always had a soft spot for "supermodified". great use
of samples, and a great album.

fuck yeah

Amon Tobin is one of the best producers around, and has his
own unique sound.

I love Chaos Theory.

but all of his works are equally amazing.

I like Amon Tobin too. He has a distinctive style, although
as ecnadniarb pointed out, some of it is dull. Not as dull
as ecnadniarb's posts of course, but then it happens after
you hit 19000+ posts and start getting predictable.
Predictable=dull.

/endsarcasm

funnily enough, when I saw him, he didn't even compare to
the act that came before him (hexstatic)

he played a really REALLY fucking nice 15 minute version of
proper hoodidge I'll never forget though

proper hoodridge kicks ass.. and there's a secret connection
between tobin and paradinas I'm sure

all the different element of the track bounce off each other
so well, the album version sounds tame in comparison to how
I remember his live version,

He used to be the king. I love the Chaos Theory soundtrack
but it doesn't make me forget OFOW, that thing was really
underwhelming, I can't remember any of the tracks from it
except the first one. Whatever it was called. I think
everything he did before that was 10/10, though.

lawl, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks

Honestly it went in one of my ears and out the other. It
didn't seem to have as much of the exotic flavor I love in
his older work. I really disliked stuff like Triple Science
and Cosmo, technical exercises with no really interesting
sounds. Not bad stuff at all, but not what I listen to him
for. Searchers, El Wraith and a few others, that was cool.
But on every other album, I can listen without skipping
anything.

And actually now that I look at the track listing for the
first time in a long time, I don't like Back from Space, I
was thinking of Searchers. Just another fancy programming
exploit.
