I use CDEX because it does a good job, and it's
what I'm used to. other people prefer other things.

i use the normal Windows Media Player... so i've all my
tracks in "wma" format and subsequently i convert them in
mp3 with media blaze converter..

but why?? you keep the wma format because it is better or

I don't know what you mean exactly, but I'll explain.

Ripping to wma = bad because this format sucks...ripping an
already converted format into another converted format =
lost of quality.

Why don't you rip straight to mp3?

Install iTunes set it to, 192kbps vbr and you'll hear the

you can use windows media player to convert them to mp3
directly.

at least wmp 10 does that, you just have to see in the
options, it can even do flac!

I don't know about wavelab and all the others...but do they
fill in the ID3tag like iTunes does?
Artist, song, song#, album, year, genre, composer.
For me thats very important.

that always screwed up for me, it couldn't rip digital audio
and then couldn't rip at all - just generated files of
silence.
