Listening to Perrey-Kingsley's The In Sound from Way Out!,
I've just noticed that Timbaland sampled track 5 for "Are
You That Somebody?" which be produced for Aaliyah, R.I.P.

Do you know some other interesting sample sources, for
popular songs or otherwise?

i guess nobody here knows...

future sound of london (the kings of sampling in my
opinion). sampled a part from bram stokers dracula on
slider, they used samples from the predator, mad max, the
exocist II, run dmc, deep cover, aliens, etc... so many!

Some of the greatest remixes ever are made using them.

They have agreed to buy Lee & Perrin as well as both are
owned by Danone. But I doubt they will change the names as
the brands are too strong on their own.

It's a play on pop producing legends (one things of Sonya
and Hazel Dean) Stock Aitken and Waterman, is the thing, I guess.

A while ago I discovered that Stem by DJ Shadow extensively
uses the intro to Love Suite by Nirvana.

dont tell sneakattack that, he can only use the word brain
so many times =D

kontakte was one of dennis waterman's top 5 albums
incidentally, along with varese's 'poem electronique' and
"dont you make you feel good" by stefan dennis

While, interestingly, or not, Dennis Waterman takes up all 5
places in my Top 5 Albums of Ever.

And "I could be so good for you" was one of the 5 out of 500
7" singles that I saved from chucking in the skip and
bringing with me when I moved abroad.
