i've been searching through old posts for the past 10 minutes (i'm at work) and i've been feeling sad. i miss some of those people that don't post anymore. and i also miss aspects of my life around that time. most of these posts are a year or two years old. am i turning into a sap of the worst kind? or am i bold enough to say, even though i barely post here, that I LOVE YOU GUYS! hahahaha, terribly sorry.... |

I went like 30000 posts back the other day just to see what the topics would be and who the posters were at the time.. it turned out being from 2002 and half of the people here then are no longer here, and yes, I miss some of them. I know what you mean about missing aspects of your life at the time, too. When I saw the date 2002 on the posts, I thought about my best friends back home who I rarely see now, and how all of us got into electronica together through Aphex Twin's flim. The saddest part to me is that I will never be able to listen to flim or alberto balsam or ziggomatic and experience them like I did the first time - without any electronic music knowledge or prejudice and without anything to compare them to... ah how I miss that feeling. |
