so what do you guys think of this?
this album is weird though. it sounds like squarepusher did
a drukqs kinda album. like piano tracks and drill tracks
together.
but I must say that the piano and guitar tracks do sound
like something of his own. the drill tracks have the
tendencie to sound ALLOT like squarepusher.
I think the flashbulb must get really fed up with people
comparing him to squarepusher.

you can read what i think in this thread

it's true though, that you cant really compare 'kirlian
selections' with sp's music,
my comparison was more based on his previous album 'red
extenstions of me', which reminded me of sp when i first
heard it

the difference with druqks is that mr. jordan plays the
instruments himself

lol, have you actually heard it.
imo it sound way better, but that's still a matter of taste
eh.
i think compositions like 'shortcuts', 'autumn insomnia
session' and maybe 'passage d' show that he's musically
better than aphex

you forget where he got the ideas from in the first
place.....from aphex and pusher!

I think there's something to be said for innovation...

but I guess in the end it is about what sounds best. :)
