"2" sounds like "Floodland" era Sisters of Mercy, which is excellent as that's one of my fave albums. "4" sounds I don't know, Grime? and 12 is very nice. Quite a different smorgasbord of sounds from the usual electro-bound DMX Krew.
Why did he change his name from DMX Krew to Collapse Of The Wave Function and then back again?

Having listened to track "2" about ten times now I can safely say that's one of the best tracks I've heard him do, and he definitely has been listening to "Floodland". Look forward to the album.
I guess no one is going to explain before it's all out what's the relation, if any, between the vinyl only albums and the "Wave" CD.

Sounds very interesting...
My favorite DMX Krew tracks are still remixes, like Cylob's I'm All Alone mix or Aphex's You Can't Hide Your Love mix. Brilliant, melodic stuff.

I'm really looking forward to this now, all the samples are rad. This sounds 10x better than the previous Collapse Of The
Wave Function material. IS there anywhere that explains what's on the vol 4 and 5 vinyls and the Wave CD album, it's all a bit, too much.
I wish Rephlex would just release records properly.

I don't know, but I think the CD is a "best of" or collection of the vinyl tracks, as far as I can tell....

I bought collapse of the wave function volumes 4 and 5 yesterday, and they are both really good!
I recommend that you check them out! volume 5 has a brilliant song about William the Conqueror, just superb.
Track listings:
volume 4: "Many worlds" A1 Reverse tachyon beam A2 Meridian 1212 A3 Monolith A4 Spinal implants A5 Synchrotron blue
B1 Fallen kings track B2 Mars memory B3 The monsignor B4 The pleasure zone -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
volume5: "The transactional interpretation" A1 William the conqueror A2 Brain location service A3 Clock works A4 Quantum logic A5 Dydramol theme
B1 Echelon B2 Heisenberg B3 Feynman radio B4 Funeral procession =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Top pop pickers facts: William the conqueror has vocals, a repetition of the one part.
Echelon has vocals about the echelon electronic surveilance system.
