so, check it out

best friend, female, says she will cut off all contact with
you if you are friends with an enemy of hers

said enemy of hers is really cool. really fun chick to talk
to. has remarkable (and unusual, almost odd) taste in music,
greek-italian, beautiful body, laughs and smiles all of the
fucking time, loyal. you want to measure the compatability
factor w/ her. if you do that , your best female friend will
not speak to you or invite you to parties or go on fun
little dinners with you anymore. what do you do.

just want to see others views/opinions on this situation...

you may/may not factor in a convo you had with the best
friend where you said, "youre just keeping it real and all
that cause you secretly like me" and she got all pissed off,
hasnt spoken with you since. does that mean she likes you?
(YOU DO NOT WANT TO DATE BEST-FEMALE-FRIEND)

an old buddhist and/or spam email wisdom said you should not
judge people by their friends, so in this case you should be
'allowed' to see that other girl
otherwise it does sound like girl crap with best friends/
worst enemies stuff, or marlowe

I'd explain to said friend that I'm a big boy and can fuck
whom I wish. But I wouldn't be so blunt, I'd try to talk
some sense into said friend. If I can't talk some sense into
her, I'd probably ditch her because I'm callous and can't
deal with girl shit.

Why would they/are they enemies, anyway?

Usually that means she didnt know how to interpret your
comment, or she was terrible offended by your assumption
that she liked you. Girls usually take that pretty weird.

Shameful, but I have....it doesnt make you an asshole, and
I'm sure you meant it sincerly...but girls gotta deal with
guys assuming they want the cock all the time (especially if
your lezbo) and she herself assumed you were being a prat.
HOWEVER, I think the first rings true, and if she stormed
off in that manner as you speak of it, she's just marinating
on it,

Its on you to go talk to her.

--poke--

By the way, Hello and whats up!

To Quote Ophecks,"I'd probably ditch her because I'm
callous and can't
deal with girl shit."

As I get older, I am less and less inclined to tolerate or
waste time on childish, interpersonal grudge matches like
this (AKA 'girl shit').

i've been in a situation that may be a little close
to this one once; a girl who wouldn't want to talk to me
again because i was friends with another guy she had
problems with. she blew a fuse somewhat and i didn't know
what to do. i let it all be, kept talking to the other guy
(even though i questioned him about it - it really bothered
me)... eventually she calmed down and even them got along
well again in the end.

now of course i have no idea whether it will be the same way
in your case or not. probably not. : /

If she really is your best friend she would be happy for you
if you are happy. If not, then she isn't worth it.

Go and date this girl.

to respond to 80% of replies: i am not gonna fuck this girl.
i am the type to get attached and i aint wanting that right
now.

now that thats out of the way

aesthetics you hit the nail on the head; why is she all
keeping it real and shit, if she is supposed to be my best
friend? maybe she isn't i guess. all good things come to an
end sooner or later.

physt; i think she was pissed @ that comment because she
does infact like me. you dont know her at all or me for that
matter all that much really but given the situation, what's
the likelyhood that she's just jealous? judging from past
experience too

ophecks; they are not really enemies, one is just completely
intolerant of the other for one or more reasons i dont know.
figured its a girl thing right off, but its more than that i
think.

It sounds like 'Enemy' girl is more charming than the 'Best
Friends' girl.

Don't worry about impressing someone. Hang out with whomever
provides more enjoyable company. One of my favourite Lao Zi
quotes is "Care about other's approval and you will be their
prisoner."

Hell, you can just be friends with 'Enemy' girl, and of
'Best Friend' girl doesn't like that then, well...that's her
fackin' problem, you seee.

Hmm a rule of thumb that I usually work by... If somebody
asks you to chose between them and another person you should
choose the other person because they're not asking you to
choose. Why does your best friend not like the greek-italian
girl? Maybe she has her reasons and is worried for your
happiness or something and knows something you don't? In
either case it isn't fair to make you choose, the best thing
for her to have done would have been to have warned you or
told you why she didn't like her and leave it for you to
judge for yourself. I think you should talk to your friend
and say that just because you are friends with greeky girl
that it doesn't change the way you feel about her. They
don't have to have any relations with each other just
because you are friends with them both. It doesn't say very
much about this girl if she's willing to lose your
friendship over another girl. She's got some insecurities
about you being friends with this other girl, maybe she's
scared she'll tell you something about said best friend that
she doesn't want you to know?

call your friend a drama-queen and sign her up to some
reality-tv where you can watch her on television. If she
quickly becomes the head "scheme-behind-your-back" bitch,
you can be sure she's like that in real-life (although
milder.. television has editors and most of those shows are
competitions).

fucking "friends"

listen here boiiiiiiiiiiii

if prat #1 has a problem with the other one, tell her you'll
work it so that they don't have to be in the same room/place
ever. if she starts whinging that that doesn't solve the
problem, then tell her to fucking get real.

people thinking they can dictate to others who their friends
can be? what the fuck is this shit. seriously.

Err :/

I didn't mean that.

All I mean is that surely someone who wants to dictate to
her friends who they can and cannot be friends with isn't
worth considering a friend. There must be some history
between the two but her demand is dispicable.
