what that "la la la" sample in AB5 side b track 1 is from?
and what other musics it's been used in? cos it's bugging
the fuck out of me.

could you possibly link a sample of that exact sample?

not easily, no. it's the one that goes "la la la" a couple
of times. maybe just once. I think its used in some mid-90s
dance or trance type track. at least that's the sort of time
period that my addled brain is telling me I last heard it.
originally I think its from a film.

come on brain. *hits brain*

Am I going to have to go through every one of my mid-90s CDs
to find out? :'(

Oh, sorry! heheh I forgot to type it :)
I say it's from Barbarella. And I've got it in "Barbarella",
by Barbarella (S Vath & R Hildenbeutel).

Barbarella? I remember that in X-Mix...it had a CG
ballerina didn't it? haha mtv party zone was mad with
scatty simone angel. oh well i'll shut up now.

I dunno about that. I've got a CD single with Caspar Pound
and associates remix and various Sven Vath mixes on. It's
the sort of thing that'd turn up on an X Mix though :)

it's from barbarella the movie? I can't remember much
singing in that, but it's been a while since I saw it..
maybe I should watch it again.. hahaha! silly movie!

offline xceque on 2005-07-17 15:52 [#01666161]

I think it's just from incidental singing. Like When Jane
Fonda is in the hot tub or something. I'm sure there's a
scene where she's singing to herself in a tub.

hmm.. no, wait.. I think it's when she's had real sex for
the first time.. with the hairy guy and she's lying in all
those pelts...

first time sex with a hairy man? for anyone that surely =
gay.

Hairy was all the rage back in the 60s. Even for non gay
people, I hear.

I think hairy would be ok for a caterpillar in the 2000s

is it because of the ever so tiny penis in my avatar?

offline ecnadniarb on 2005-07-17 16:20 [#01666188]

Yeah, I like how the caterpillar population are so much more
open minded than the human population. Humans would
immediately go hairy -> gay. Caterpillars would go hairy ->
OK in the 2G. The difference is immeasurable without a
ruler.

They have a healthy attitude to hair. It's refereshing. I'm
not a caterpillar.

I tell you what is refreshing. Them caterpillars and their
attitude to hair and also packets of refreshers...although
they also lead to cavities and fizzy farts which
caterpillars don't (at least under current scientific
experimentation)

caterpillars do lead to fizzy farts, but only this
type:

Oh you shouldn't eat those. Apart from flatuelence you'll
incur the wrath of tree hugging nature freaks who are trying
to save the the red admiral butterfly and other butterflys
that come from fat furry caterpillars. Probably they want to
save them for their tea later. I expect the refreshers will
be dessert.
