heh, unfortunately, while normally "keep it to email" is a good idea, in this case I can't reply because the email server has started need smtp authentication and I forgot my password. So I can receive emails but can't reply to them. So... my response... no-one likes having their voice cut off but you kept re-opening a closed issue. I don't know what the original issue was and so I don't know if I'd agree with it or not or the closing/deleting of it or not. The reason I'm closing your topics (and it's the only reason) is that you keep trying to restart a matter that has been brought to a close. ok. I'm not going to close this. It is from HoH for the spectrum and it took me ages to animate it using Corel Photopaint. I don't fancy doing a heels one but I might if I feel inspired! Heels is less animate so it'd be easier. |

The original topic was- Topic- you guys body- are cunts Or something to that effect. And I deleted it without saying anything or giving a reason, for obvious reasons. But I knew it could have been a joke, just not a fresh one since it had been done before to no good effect. I didn't ban him because he's always been cool and this was really just a nothing topic, nothing good but nothing all that bad. So yeah, there's nothing more to say here. If I close your topic and you're upset that I didn't ''get it'' (in all its complexity), e-mail and ask why I did it. |

didn't know there was a mail for mods, will do next time if such a thing occurs again (which i doubt). i apologize for insulting you (i was already upset before i posted) but the only good reason i can imagine why deleting this thread is because it would've wasted some webspace (not much though) for a pointless so-called discussion. that said i of course have no idea how i woul've reacted as a mod but it seems to me you could've waited a few posts to see if there was really a bad vibe in or, or no vibe at all. again i'm not pretending i'd be a better mod than u, it's just so much easier to know what to do when you're not supposed to do it. |

It's cool, no hard feelings. I usually give reasons for closing stuff, but given the recent bad vibes from some of the London topics and the America topics, I just thought, ''fuck it, now's not the time for stuff like this''. And we don't ''wait around'' to see what happens to threads like these, we're not required to do that and I don't have time to watch some nothing topic develop into what is usually a nothing topic that gets closed. That said, there's really nothing ''wrong'' with nothing topics or the people that make them, but it doesnt' help the board and people are always complaining about it on the board and off. It was nothing personal or anything, it was just another topic I didn't want to see here. It boils down to seeing too many topics like invariably suck ass and get closed, or even become kind of nasty. |
