I made something grime-ish.
wouldn't call it 100% grime. was messing around, and here'
the result....JAAAAAAAJ

I wouldn't say this sounds very grimey, a bit too much clean
and electronic sounding (I know grime is electronic, but is
tends to sound a bit more gritty). Not bad though.

very very awesome
if i may ask: what'd you use for the bass, and what for
reverb?
:)

and did you use sent tracks for reverb?
i tried this the other time on vocals and on sent it kept
sounding slightly less good than normal, i did wet 100%,
maybe something else i did wrong, maybe it's suppose to
sound slightly less on sent

I used Asynth (freeware) for the bass. it's a very good
synth with an analogue type filter. very good for bass. the
reverb I used on the vocals is also a (very) good freeware
one called Ambience (same site as Asynth). this freeware
reverb can compete with the expensive vst reverbs you can
find. but it's a bit cpu intensive so I don't use it very
often. on the rest of the track I used the reverb you get
with fruity. which isn't a bad one either.

nope no sends.
I don't think it's supposed to sound less on sends though.

i think the perc is too distant for it to be grimey ....
nice samples and not a bad shot at the grime bass sounds
though

anyone know a good site to host mp3s?

It's the sound of white middle class boys pretending to be
black. And for that reason, I LOVE IT.

yes I have, but do you really need it? you don't have the
plugins and patches etc. I can give you some midi files for
the notes though. it 's probably for that you want the flp?

Chances are I have the vst's. If not, I have a way to
convert them for comparable programs. If you want to make
the flp accessible, that would be great.
