well 'Speed of Sound' is a pretty good track but I fear the album will be just the same as 'Rush of Blood..' but lacking a bit of the original flair that the band had. In 'Gravity' I think Chris martin gave away one of the best songs he's ever written and I just feel that it'll be too much the same. I like to see bands taking a slightly new direction with a new album because frankly more of the same will bore me and ultimately not be good enough. Parachutes was the best album |

Have both parachutes and Rush of Blood. I don't know. It's quite ambient - just mood music really. Good for motorway driving. :) However, "yellow" and "Clocks" had me addicted for a good long while, so I'll probably get the album when I scrape together either some cash or a clean cd. |

DW: you could well be right. However my eclectic preferences mean I tend to have music mood swings. Like, I had a complete Avalanche obsession. It was trance-inducing. I haven't heard the demo, no. But shall check it out. Thanks. |
