I never seen a film that has moved me more than The
Shawshank Redemption.. it's flawless for me. I remember the
first time I saw it; a rainy day and I was a grumpy kid in a
bad mood.. my Dad shouted me down and forced me to watch it
for some reason. I was determined not to like it, yet it
nearly made me cry on a few times and I loved it ever since.
I think it's the perfect film.

I also love the Godfathers, Goodfellas, City of God, the
Usual Suspects, American Beauty, and the Last of the
Mohicans as close runners-up.

i've never walked out on a movie in a theatre mostly because
when i go, it's usually because i'm pretty sure i'm going to
like the movie. but there has been stuff viewed at home
that I definitely would have walked out on if it was in the
theatre, nothing comes to mind right now.

lot of movies but old slapstic movies (chaplin, buster
keaton, kaurel & hardy, ...) with early jazz music never
bore me

la cite des enfants perdue, because of a beautiful girl and
crazy mixture of modern things with old central european
fairy tales structures.

this is what came to mind first.

I loved both Solaris, dug both approaches. I don't even
group them together in the filing system of my mind.

My favorite movie is probably Transformers, nothing makes me
feel the same way. Followed by The Wicker Man, 2001, The
Thing, Predator, The Voyager, The Last Man on Earth, and
maybe the fourth Where the Boys Aren't.

Especially one that has such heart and soul as well.. i cant
tell you how many times I've watched this. Candy is so
funny, what a loss. The partnership with Martin is perfect.
And I wasn't prepared for the ending the first time I saw
it. Great shout! :D

FUll Metal Jacket is the most powerful film I've ever seen,
really stunning directed by Kubrick, especially since he did
all his shooting in England rather than America or Vietnam.

Funniest movie ever really should be one of the Monty
Pythons however I remember physically crying with laughter
at "Rat Race" when I saw that for the first time in the
cinema, sublime :D

The X-Files Movie is just a cult classic

The best films are obviously Brazil and Fire Walk
With Me
, how many times do I have to say this?

Fire Walk With me actually terrified me. I didn't expect it
to.

The demon Bobby was just too terrifying and
creepy...especially the scene where he climbs through the
window.

Me and my friends sat through Season 1 in its entirety.
Little did we know we'd have to wait years to find out what
happens next!
