i'm not an expert, that's the one i could think of at the
moment...and of which i heard a track or two....not my thing

I used to call the hardcore/rave stuff breakbeat in '93.
Then I think it got re-used with the Dust Brothers/Chemical
Brothers thing before it was branded Big Beat. Furthermore I
also believe it has been used to describe the nu-school
breaks stuff from 97 and onwards. Atleast this is from an
scandinavian viewpoint, and I would think this differs a bit
from the british or american one.

So...where to begin?

I think the gurls can dig some of the Plump DJs stuff. It's
good & dance-able, so that might be what you're after. While
you're at it you can alway dig out some rave choonz from
Acen.
