You better not. Aaah, I miss that search function. All topics have apparently been created. There is so much knowledge in the XLT vaults

• Musick To Play In The Dark vol.1 is the best to start with, i think you made a good choice : )
vol.2 is much harder to get into, even though it's just as good... it's a bit like vol.1 through a distorting glass or a weird dream.
• Moon's Milk In Four Phases is the one i'd recommend next; it consists of the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice EPs (released separately as well). bizarre and beautiful.
• Scatology and Horse Rotorvator are their first albums, industrial/rock, a bit unequal but with some very good stuff. easy to get into.
• Love's Secret Domain is hard to describe, it seems IDM fans like it a lot... kind of a "satire" (?) of dancey/clubby music or so i've read somewhere...
• Time Machines, Queens Of The Circulating Library and ANS are great if you like drone ambient... (QOTCL features also a female singer recitating a poem from one of the members (i forgot who), and it's a single very long track, live from what i remember... i like it a lot)
• Astral Disaster and Black Light District: A Thousand Lights In A Darkened Room can be described as ambient too but a whole different style... sometimes piano, sometimes vocals, sometimes beats, it's not dronal...
• Constant Shallowness Leads To Evil is noise music. much more agressive and "evil" than what they usually do.
• How To Destroy Angels Remixes & Re-Recordings is... weird, but any Coil is weird anyway... kinda creepy... hard to describe as well. a bit like Music For Bondage Performance vol.1 by Merzbow, which is noise but much less agressive and "noisy" than the usual Merzbow, while still being quite beatless and melodyless.
• The Remote Viewer features drones as well as bagpipes and is fucking awesome.
• The Restitution Of Decayed Intelligence is a bit like Autechre's or Fabien Porée (dariusgriffin's) music but... even weirder.

I need to get my hands on a copy of "The Restitution Of Decayed Intelligence" it's the only major hole in my collection at the moment, I had the chance to buy it 1 1/2 years ago but I was dead broke, sounded awesome from when I heard it though...
*ponders raiding mapatazee's files.... yet again...

I can definitely recommend ELpH Vs Coil: Worship the Glitch. This is some pretty scary and dark music and actually the title "Music to play in the darK" probably suits this release better!
It's got lots of replayability too and is pretty tight.

I think I tried browsing your files before and it failed, it's probably got something to do with the way we have the internet set up, which I can't really do anything about :\
hopefully you can browse mine though :D
